Along the Great Ocean Road, you’ll find one of Australia’s most beloved and visited icons, the 12 Apostles. Even though not all the apostles are still standing, the landscape is still breath taking and incredible to witness along the coast. There are several iconic other areas to stop and take in the view, such as Loch Ard Gouge, The Razerback, Gibson Steps. Plus, don’t forget to stop at Port Campbell for lunch and relax on the little beach area in the town.

Lastly, it was an unfortunate reminder how we all need to be constantly aware of the negative environmental impact of the fossil fuel industry in these pristine protected areas. It was disheartening to see a new gas rig had open up few months ago and now in the view of the 12 Apostles.
